rowing memberships

After completion of your instruction or with proven sculling experience, you will be certified to row on you own--so you can become a member. As a member, you can row as often as you like, whenever you like. Rowing Dock members also have free access to our rowing machines, and to our rental fleet which consists of paddle boats and kayaks. We organize full-moon rows, and encourage participation in local races. Also, we have an E-mail list server for members to exchange information, meet potential workout buddies, and to coordinate rowing in double and quad boats.

As a unique feature of our service, we have a dock attendant on duty everyday of the week. Check our home page for the up-to-date schedule. The dock attendant will help you get your boat in the water and offer informal instruction. At other times you and a friend can come on your own and use the combination lock to access the boats.

We offer free coaching for members two times a week.  These coach sessions are a great way for members to brush up on technique and try out the team boats: doubles and quads.


 

To pay up front for membership: download the Rowing Enrollment Form and either mail the form and your check to P.O. Box 685162, Austin, TX  78768 or bring your form and check to Rowing Dock to activate your membership. 

To start a debit membership: download both the Rowing Enrollment Form and Bank Debit Agreement (see links below) and attach a voided check.  Either mail both forms and voided check to P.O. Box 685162, Austin, TX  78768 or bring forms and voided check to Rowing Dock to activate your membership.  All forms are also available at Rowing Dock.
